Here's Tom's Story ... (and he's sticking to it!)


Tom grew up in Manchester, New Hampshire
where he started in the radio business.  His
career has taken him to stations in Albany,
Springfield, Providence and now Worcester.
Tom's passion for skiing has kept him in
New England ... close to his home state where
he learned to ski.

Tom did take a brief hiatus from the radio
business when he formed his own sound system company where he worked with such artists as James Taylor, Carly Simon, Livingston Taylor, The Count Basie band and even worked as the sound man for President Reagan.

Tom was chosen 2002 Large Market Program
Director of the Year by Gavin Magazine and was
named one of the Top 30 Program Directors in
America by Radio Inc. Magazine. Tom Has also
been nominated Program Director/Music Director of the year, three times by Billboard Magazine.

Good to see a Boston Boy do good!  Ben Afleck and the cast win the Oscar for Best Picture... and Ben gets his Oscar as producer ... even though he was snubbed as the Best Director with no nomination!

Massachusetts Girl Gets in the Top 20!

Our Massachusetts girl, Angela Miller, makes the Top 20 on American Idol!

Angela was chosen one of the top 5 of her group last night in the Las Vegas competition and is now in the top 20.  The judges gave her a raving review.

The Vegas move is  a new twist in the competition, during which the Top 40 once again will be split  by gender. Tonight at 8:00-10:00 PM,  the remaining 10 female semifinalists will perform. The guys will compete next week.  Each night, the judges will be faced with the tough decision of choosing which five will stay and which five will be sent home. At the end of  the first stage of the semifinals, only 20 contestants will  remain.

Was Tony Sheridan ever a Beatle?

Tony Sheridan who played with the Beatles before Ringo Starr entered the picture passed away after undergoing heart surgery at the age of 72.   The Beatles with Tony actually recorded a song together "My Bonnie" in 1962. The Beatles developed their stage act during lengthy engagements in the clubs of Hamburg, Germany with Tony!
