Here's some fun ideas to keep the kids busy and happy until school starts again.
1. Build a Snow Family:
Lets face it, theres a lot of snow and its not going anywhere soon, might as well take advantage of the weather and build a snow representative for each family member!
2. Build a Couch Fort:
Prepare to have your living room rearranged and break out the construction materials; sheets, blankets, pillows, cusions, and chairs are all fair game!
3. Hot Chocolate Bar:
Head to the nearest Big Y, leave the kids in Little Y, and grab the essentials; Hot cocoa mix, peppermint sticks, whipped cream, and obviously dont forget the marshmallows!
Wow! So great to back home and on the air in Worcester! Did you miss me? Ha! Seriously though…I couldn’t be more excited to a part of the team here at 96.1 WSRS!
I’m still doing stand up around New England and you’ll notice I still have a tendency to be a bit of a wise guy. Alright maybe a lot of a wise guy! I love being on the air and hope it shows. Be sure to tune in and join in on the fun so we can get through our afternoons together.
For those of you who don’t know me, don’t be surprised when I talk about my wife (she isn’t anymore!) Kimi. You’ll also be sure to get a feel for how much I love being a dad (my all time favorite job!) I started out on the JR in the Morning Show on WZOU in Boston in 1991. I was on the air for many years in Boston, then Detroit, and eventually here in Worcester, but I always remained a fixture in comedy clubs all over the United States.
Be sure to check out my favorite part of the show, iHeart the 80s with me, Zito, everyday at 5! Let me know what you’d like to hear. Email me at Zito@wsrs.com. I’ll share tons of great music, cool happening’s around town, as well as the weird, fun, offbeat stories you’ve come to expect from me over the years!
