When I was growing up in Lynn I wanted to be one of three things:
- a pitcher for the Red Sox;
- lead guitarist for a major late '70's rock band (except Rush, I never liked them);
-or, a wise-cracking guy on a morning radio show.
As with most childhood career dreams, things didn't really work out with the Sox or the rock star thing. However, after getting a Master's Degree and working as a clinical social worker for 15-years, it was time for a change and my lovely (and extremely tolerant) wife Jean said I ought to go for the radio thing. So off to Broadcasting School, an internship, and a job that paid little but got me in the door. Now ten years, here I am.
Jean and I have been married for 25 years and have two great kids Sam and Jake . When they're not watching me sleep in my chair in front of the TV, they play baseball and hockey all while making great grades in school (must be due to their mom).
Now that the boys are in college, we're dealing with the whole empty nest thing. Otis, the Boston Terrier helps with that.
This is Frank the Wonderdog. One of the sweetest and smartest dogs we've ever had. He passed in october and we miss him everyday. RIP, buddy.
I am a product of the 80’s, love music from the 90’s, and when I Googled the day I was born I found out nothing happened!
I’m the oldest of 5 and come from a big loud Italian family. I was born and raised in New England, where I spent the first half of my life in Vermont and later moved to New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Florida.
I have always been interested in media and the arts and since sleep is overrated, I perused morning radio and have been working mornings since 1996 in different parts of the country. In 2008, I married my 8th grade crush David, who I reconnected with after 20 years and we fell in love!
I’m obsessed with everything entertainment and social media (if Miley’s twerking I’m telling you about it!) I’m a sucker for Lifetime Movies, (which makes my husband nervous) any practical jokes show, cooking show, 90210 rerun or a Rocky movie marathon. I also enjoy cooking; decorating, entertaining, spending time with my crazy nephews who nicknamed me “Chewy” and I’ll never turn down a day at the spa!
I’m thrilled to be part of the WSRS morning show and look forward to spending our mornings together.
