When Shelley Joseph’s condo in Peachtree City, Georgia, was destroyed in a fire, she had mixed emotions. She was grateful that her beloved dog, Napoleon, was saved by firefighters, but devastated about losing her wedding dress just two weeks before the big day. After her story was aired on local news, however, she received some help from people in her community.

Sarah Heath, owner of J. Andrew’s Bridal in Peachtree City, saw the story and felt compelled to help, offering to provide Shelley with a new wedding dress free of charge. Thanks to Heath's offer, the bride-to-be was able to find a new dress she loved, restoring her hope that her May 18th wedding would happen.

In addition to the dress, Shelley also received a donation of food and treats for Napoleon from a local pet store and a crowdfund set up to help her and her fiancé rebuild has raised over $10-thousand. She expressed gratitude for the kindness from Heath and others during what has been a difficult time, saying that the outpouring of love and support has been overwhelming.
